European Roots
CIPA-France played a major role in the evolution of rear-view mirror design. CIPA USA's experience in mirror development originated from the European automotive industry, serving manufacturers including BMW, Mercedes, Renault, Volvo and Volkswagen.
In the United States market, CIPA mirrors are used on vehicles produced by Chrysler, Ford, Honda and Toyota, as well as motorcycles, boats, personal watercraft, ATV/UTV vehicles and snowmobiles manufactured worldwide.
Since 1985, CIPA USA has operated as a privately held corporation based in Port Huron, Michigan, growing steadily from $500,000 in annual sales at acquisition to more than $11 million by 2012.
Global Growth
Today, CIPA manufactures products across the United States, Mexico and Asia, enabling efficient global production while maintaining strict quality standards throughout its supply chain.
In 1987, CIPA entered the boating industry as a manufacturer of rear-view mirrors for ski boat manufacturers, and today leads the market in ski boat mirror products supplied globally.
Committed to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, CIPA completed ISO 9001 Certification and continues to innovate across automotive, powersports, towing and recreational vehicles.
